What do we mean by a full, two-year warranty? Quite simply, if you experience any problems with your new product whether it’s with the hardware, glass surface protection, or the glass itself within two years from the date of purchase, we’ll fix it or replace it for free. And should a problem occur, you’ll always deal directly with us.

Warranty Statements

Glass Shower Doors Warranty Information
When you invest in a glass shower from Superior Glass & Mirror, you’re getting a high-performing, long-lasting product expertly constructed of the best materials available, and we’re proud to back that up with a warranty you can rely on. We offer a comprehensive, straightforward warranty on all glass shower doors sold and installed by Superior Glass & Mirror technicians.
Here’s what we offer:

  • Superior Glass & Mirror guarantees all of its sales and installations, and will repair or replace any faulty glass or hardware. Superior Glass & Mirror will provide all labor and materials necessary to fix faulty glass and/or hardware installed for two years from the date of installation.
  • Superior Glass & Mirror will provide service for caulking, leaking, squeaking, and sagging to its work for two years from the date of installation.
  • Superior Glass & Mirror offers hardware provided by C.R. Laurence. You may view the manufacturer’s individual warranty by clicking on the provided link.
  • Acrylic sweeps, seal, doorstops, and thresholds, as applicable, are covered for a period of six months from the time of installation. Keep in mind that replacement of these materials is considered routine maintenance of the glass shower door and needs to be done periodically; therefore they are considered the owner’s responsibility. These materials are readily available for purchase from Superior Glass & Mirror, and are easily replaced by the homeowner.

Here are our terms and conditions:

  • Our warranty is offered only to the original purchaser; that is, the warranty may not be assigned or transferred to someone else, and it terminates upon sale of the home/building in which the product has been installed. We do require proof of ownership.
  • Superior Glass & Mirror is not liable for glass breakage, damage or failure due to misuse, or to acts of nature including fire, flood or earthquake.
  • Superior Glass & Mirror is not liable for leaking if the substrate materials are not properly pitched. The proper pitch is toward the drain and needs to be a minimum of 1/4″ per foot.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused through faulty design of your residence or business, careless handling, alteration, misuse, or misapplication.
  • Use of harsh, abnormal or abrasive chemical cleaning products will void the warranty; please follow the guidelines provided for your proper maintenance of your product.
  • Discoloration or stains due to improper water chemistry, hard, and non-filtered well water are not covered under the warranty.
  • Use of direct water spray toward hinges or seals and wipes may result in expelling of water outside the enclosure and is not covered under these terms.

ABRASIVE CLEANER WARNING: Do not use abrasive or acid-based cleaners when cleaning your Shower Enclosure. There are some powerful cleaners on the market today. Abrasive or acid-based cleaners can scar the metal or glass of your Shower Enclosure. It probably wouldn’t happen with a single application, but it’s best to use appropriate types of cleaners all the time.

TOWEL BAR WARNING: Any hardware attached to the glass enclosure is intended for operation of the door or to support a bath towel. These handles, hinges, towel bars and any other applied hardware is NOT to be used as a body weight support such as a “grab bar”.

C.R. Laurence Company

Hardware manufactured by C.R. Laurence is also covered by a full, 3-year warranty. The first year is offered through Superior Glass & Mirror; the next two years are offered directly through C.R. Laurence.

Insulated Glass (I.G.) Limited Warranty

Manufacturers warrants the insulated unit (s) on the referenced invoice against material obstruction of vision resulting from the accumulation of dust, moisture, or film on the internal glass surface caused by failure of the edge seal due to defects in the material or workmanship with the following exceptions: seal failure due to glass breakage, units that have not been installed in a workmanship manner and glazed in accordance with sigma suggested glazing instructions; units used or installed in high moisture environments, such as swimming pool enclosures, greenhouses, solar collectors and refrigeration units; units used or installed in high vibration environments such as motor vehicles, travel trailers, watercraft, aircraft or in airports; seal failure or breakage resulting from a film or coating applied to the exterior of the unit; units installed in sloped glazing and skylights; units which have been improperly handled; units installed with incompatible sealant materials. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties, statements, or representations, and all warranties, statements, or representations made by any other person or firm are void. All implied warranties in connection with this sale, including the warranty or merchantability, shall be of the same duration as the warranty as to the suitability of these units (s) for any particular application.

If any breach of this warranty is reported to the manufacturer before the end of the ten (10) years from the date of manufacture, the manufacturer, at its exclusive option, will either, (a) provide a replacement unit (b) refund to the customer 100% of the original selling price for such defective units. If the manufacturer elects to supply a replacement unit, the warranty will extend for the balance of the original five or ten year period. All replacements shall be f.o.b. Of the factory, and the replacement labor cost is not covered under this warranty, only glass materials.

Superior Glass & Mirror provides a 90 day labor warranty on the workmanship and any replacement cost as described above.

Any damage to a deteriorated wood, vinyl, aluminum or steel window or door frame during the installation process due to old, aged, excessively caulked, rotted wood, brittle, bent or damaged materials of the existing frame is not the responsibility of Superior Glass & Mirror to replace or repair at no charge. Complete care and replacement techniques of skilled workmanship will be performed to its ability with the job conditions. Most installations can have concealed conditions and unknown outcome of the window or door glass replacements. Obvious concerns will be noted at the time of the estimate or during the installation process.

Mirror Warranty
When you invest in a mirror from Superior Glass & Mirror, you’re getting a high-performing, long-lasting product expertly constructed of the best materials available, and we’re proud to back that up with a warranty you can rely on. With two (2) full years of coverage from the time of installation, our mirror warranty is the best in the industry.
Here’s what we offer:

Superior Glass & Mirror guarantees all of its sales and installations, and will, at our discretion, repair or replace any faulty glass or hardware. Superior Glass & Mirror will provide all labor and materials necessary to fix and/or replace faulty mirror glass and/or hardware installed for two (2) years from the date of installation.

Here are our terms and conditions:

  • Superior Glass & Mirror is not liable for glass breakage, damage or failure due to misuse, or to acts of nature including fire, flood or earthquake.
  • This warranty does not cover damage caused through installation in a wet environment, or in a damp or moist environment, or in a structure that admits water intrusion.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused through faulty design of your residence or business, careless handling, alteration, misuse, or misapplication.
  • Breakage caused by settling of the architectural structure in which the mirror is installed is not covered in the warranty.
  • Use of harsh, abnormal or abrasive chemical cleaning products will void the warranty; please follow the guidelines provided for your proper maintenance of your product.
